FEDERALLY INSURED FUNDS DATE EXTENDEDNorth Districts Community Credit Union wants to assure our members of our stability during this unsettling financial market condition. The NCUSIF provides all members of federally insured credit unions with $250,000 in coverage for their individual accounts. Coverage was slated to revert to $100,000.00 on January 1, 2010 but will now stay at $250,000.00 through December 31, 2013. These accounts include regular shares, share draft, and share certificates. Individuals with account balances totaling $250,000 or less at the same insured credit union have full NCUSIF coverage. North Districts Community Credit Union is a safe and sound institution. For the past 66 years, we have remained strong and are ready to serve our member's needs . Please feel free to call with any questions.
NEW HOME BANKING FEATURE JUNE 09You now have the option to "link" your account to/from a child or spouse's account within North Districts home banking system. This will enable you to have the ability to transfer money to/from a linked account to/from their account. Example: Parents can transfer money to their child's account without contacting the credit union, make loan payments, view balances, just to name a few. You also have the ability to make the "linked" account a "read-only" account. This feature allows you to view that member's account on home banking but you do not have the option of making any transfers to/from that account. If you are interested in this program, please contact the office. A signed Account Agreement form must signed by both the primary account holder and the linked account holder. If you apply by mail, the linked account holder must call the office and give their permission. This is a great new addition to our home banking service.

BIG NEWS FOR OUR DEBIT CARD HOLDERS!We finally completed a major upgrade as of May 2009 to our checking system by going "real-time" for our debit card holders. This process took over a year to implement. Debit card holders will now have immediate access to deposits made in their accounts. The system also shows pending transactions. This will allow you to view your acutual available funds. We are always striving to improve our services for our great members!
